Minimum configuration record
6x4 semi-truck tractor wholesale requirement brief
Use one short record to keep duty, ratings, condition and delivery assumptions consistent across candidate factory responses. TractorRoad Source coordinates the comparison without claiming stock, manufacturing, authorization or destination approval.

Resolve four ambiguities before accepting an alternative
6x4 naming versus actual axle specification
Record drive-axle and front-axle ratings, suspension type, tire size and load-distribution assumptions. A 6x4 label states an arrangement but does not establish the complete rating or suitability of the offered tractor.
Engine output versus duty-cycle match
Horsepower alone does not show torque curve, transmission, differential ratio, gross combination need, grade performance, fuel requirement or service environment. Ask the supplier to identify the proposed powertrain and the operating basis used for selection.
Model-family sheet versus exact offered build
Attach the quotation reference to the wheelbase, cab, axle, coupling and model-year evidence. If an FAW, SITRAK or another brand reference is used, treat it as a buyer description; verify the offered configuration and supplier identity separately.
Ex-works price versus landed decision
List factory price, inspection, documents, inland transport, freight, duty and destination services on separate lines. Currency, validity, payment terms, Incoterm and exclusions must remain visible when alternatives are reviewed.
Fields to attach to the inquiry
Describe the trailer type, payload and gross-combination target, route distances, grades, surface, climate, annual use and driver schedule. Then state cab format, wheelbase limits, 6x4 axle arrangement, suspension, powertrain, transmission, fuel, coupling height, tire needs and any auxiliary equipment. Provide units for every rating and identify which items are mandatory versus open to alternatives.
For used tractors, add VIN, model year, odometer, dated exterior and chassis images, title or export status, service evidence and inspection scope. For every order, add units per configuration, requested delivery window, US state or port, Incoterm, document list, packing or shipping expectations and destination-side review responsibilities. An optional budget should include currency and per-unit or total-order basis; supplier-tier preference is a buyer trade-off, not a verified supplier grade.
